The rain eventually caught up with us yesterday at midday, while we were all on the beach, exploring rockpools and playing some football.  After a very wet journey back to the site, the children all changed into dry clothes and had a much needed hot lunch.  The rain, wind and cold then persisted for the remainder of the day and was still going strong when the children crawled into bed at around 9:30pm.

As the weather was so bad, the excellent Kingswood staff manage to rearrange a few outdoor activities at very short notice. so that the children were still able to take part in activities inside, although one brave group (Mr Dingle's) managed to have their turn on the huge zipwire outside in the pouring rain...

This morning, the rain has all dried up, although the wind is still going strong, so the children are back outside and taking part in archery, low ropes and zipwire.

All suitcases are packed and are likely to contain a variety of very wet clothing, which has made their bags much heavier than when they arrived - you have been warned!  After lunch, we will be hopping back on the coach and should arrive back at school comfortably before the end of the school day at 3:15pm.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
